From August 24 (tue), Miyako Yamazaki's exhibition "Night Rainbow " will be held at Spiral Garden. Miyako Yamazaki is an artist who lives and works in Molokai, Hawaii and she will present her largest exhibition so far. 

The promise of Night Rainbow is fulfilled ... A white rainbow over the night sky is a rare, miraculous encounter, a legend that makes dreams come true. In this exhibition, Miyako Yamazaki's conviction that anyone can find a beautiful and warm future, translates in the depiction of future landscapes of thousand years. With the cooperation of fashion designer Keita Maruyama, as curatorial support, and creators who are active in various fields, the legend of the Night Rainbow and the world, as depicted by Miyako Yamazaki, will be spreading out.

■ Profile
Miyako Yamazaki
Artist. Born in 1969 in Tokyo, Japan. Graduated from the Painting Department of Tama Art University. Based in Tokyo, she has exhibited her works in Japan and abroad. In 2004, she began living on a boat in the Pacific Ocean, and now lives on Molokai, a remote Hawaiian island with a population of only 7,000 and paints canvas of a future landscape of thousand years later.

More than 200 paintings and photographs, including new works drawn for this exhibition, will be exhibited and available for sale. Please enjoy the gentle colors and powerful expression of "future landscapes".
■ "Night Rainbow" installation
An installation that promises to fulfill the visitor's dreams. Surrounded with the natural sounds of Molokai island, experience the fantastic and soft light of the "Night Rainbow".

* Due to the spread of the new coronavirus infection, the Night Rainbow installation scheduled for 8/28 (Sat) and 29th (Sun) will be canceled in order to avoid risks of congestion. We apologize for any inconvenience caused and appreciate your understanding. The installation may be held again in September, without notifications on this page.
