＜About Oketa Collection ＞
Shunji and Asako Oketa travel the world seeking countless pieces of art and selecting those they "fall in love at first sight" in order to enrich their collection. When they began to collect antiques, they developed interest in contemporary art after discovering works of Yayoi Kusama in 2010.
Since 2016, they propose every year an exhibition of their collection under a different theme with the objective to share their passion of art with the public. In 2019, their first exhibition "OKETA COLLECTION : LOVE @ FIRST SIGHT" in Tokyo, welcomed more than 12,000 visitors in 12 days.
