Organized by Spiral, SICF (Spiral Independent Creators Festival) is an open-call art festival that aspires to discover, foster, and support emerging artists and designers. The 23 Spiral Independent Creators Festival will take place from May 3 (tue) to May 8 (sun) 2022.
In the EXHIBITION section, held at Spiral Hall (Spiral 3F), young creators will present their pieces, from sculptures and installations, to media art, photographies or paintings, in individual booths. The MARKET section will be host to creators in the fields of design, crafts, fashion, textile or accessories who will exhibit and sell their creations.
At the end of the festival, a series of prizes is announced, including the Judges’ Awards, Semi-Grand Prize, and Grand Prize as well as the Audience Award, which is selected by visitors and the Best Seller Award given to the creator who sold the most items. The winners of the Grand Prize of the EXHIBITION section will be awarded with a solo exhibition at Spiral most symbolical venue, the "Atrium" and ¥500,000 to prepare the exhibition. The winners of the Grand Prize of the MARKET section will be awarded with a solo pop-up at Entrance (Spiral 1F) and ¥300,000 to prepare the show.
Last year, we received more that 10,000 visitors at SICF. We hope you will be even more this year to experience the "joy of seeing" and the "joy of buying" art, crafts and design.

* We invite students to reserve the day and time of their visit on the ticketing platform, please choose the time frames mentionning the "free ticket" option.
*The tickets will also be available at the venue ［SAME DAY TICKET ¥1,000（tax included）］. However, if the venue is fully reserved by pre-sale visitors, you may not be able to enter the venue directly and might have to wait.
* The pre-sale tickets can be purchased until 23:59 on the day prior to your visit, passed this hour, you will be offered to purchase a same day ticket.
* There will be no refunds , if you cancel the day of your reservation.

・ Spiral staff and the exhibitors wear masks and measure their temperature daily.
・The staff will keep an appropriate distance with customers.
・If our staff touch a visitor, he/she will disinfect his/her hands.
・ The air conditioning at the venue is constantly ventilating and renewing the air.
