Unlike the elaborate digital world, the analog process involve the craftsmen into removing the substance to define a shape. During the process, the creator may find beauty in the accidental phenomenon that occur. In last year's pop-up "Gap", the focus was on unintended gaps, but for this second event, "sizes" and "ratios" have been intentionally altered, as to develop new applications and intentions behind each shape.
For this events, 3 brands have been collaborating. KE SHI KI develops interior products and leather items that make use of the material's texture. adachiyukari. is a minimal jewelry brand that also creates various objects, and travels between jewelry and small items. Hiromasa Fukaji will exhibit his newest works exploring the beauty of distortion between the digital and the physical worlds, presenting his biggest "Plotter Drawing" works yet.
Please take this opportunity to see the expressions created by these 3 artists and brands.
