MAKITA SHOTEN

The textile used for the umbrellas of MAKITA SHOTEN is all woven. The delicate and yet bold patterns are jacquard fabrics woven with threads vividly dyed in snowmelt water from Mt. Fuji. MAKITA SHOTEN has created an umbrella like no other by combining technology and tradition. Each part is designed with a wooden pattern, sewn together and assembled by craftsmen.
