Conversations VI -Fact x/1
Nowadays and from now on

This year will mark the 6th edition of the group show Conversations. Conversations has for objective to create dialogues among the artists, their works and the visitors. This year, Conversations presents pieces by 20 artists, previously exhibited in July this year at Gallery Ecrunomori in Mishima (Shizuoka prefecture). All works were created from February of this year, when COVID-19 started to spread and during the lockdown. How did these artists spend these unsure times and what did they express through their pieces? This particular exhibition, presents a series of personal journals, creative statements, facts in the midst of the unknown materialized through artistic medium. The subtitle Fact x/1 includes not only the creator but also the viewer in the equation, as we wish each visitor to be driven to find in himself or herself an echo with these facts.

This exhibition function as an artistic statement of the year 2020, we hope this statement will be transmitted to future generations.
