"YAMAZAKI MIYAKO Exhibitions" have been held every year since 2020. Each exhibition has been well received, attracting about 20,000 people despite the corona virus crisis. The newest will take place from September 15th (fri) to October 1st (sun). Once again, the world of painter Miyako Yamazaki, living on a small, remote island surrounded by Hawaii's nature, will spread out.
The theme of this exhibition is "DAWN - kind of blue." 200 paintings, including more than 100 new works, will be exhibited and sold. This time the selection has been centered on her deep blue paintings, reminding of the color of the sky before dawn.
In addition to the paintings, there will also be an installation, using the entire venue, imagined in collaboration with nine groups of artists and creators, based on the same theme. Through works created from each unique perspective, we invite you to a one-of-a-kind journey from the abyss before dawn to an awakening filled with light.
