From the dynamism of the 1980s to today’s chaos.  300 magazines that have inspired the Now.

From the 1980s to the present, spanning the Showa, Heisei, and Reiwa eras, this exhibition will gather over 300 magazines, for which art director Masami Shimizu has been involved in the production.

The magazines STUDIO VOICE, X-MEN, CUT, ROCKIN'ON JAPAN, an, Shinchosha Monthly Series, FILT, WE / and more, sharply captured the cultural scene of their time. As a reinterpretation of "neo culture" is emerging, it is time to have a look back at what is the Now, since then.
