Presenting Tama Art University, Faculty of Fine Arts, Department of Crafts 2024 Graduation Exhibition.
The title refers to the different meanings of the word "mono". In japanese it qualifies the "thing" but also the "material", in greek it means the "only".
In this era of digitalization, where we are losing the sense of "mono" in all its meanings, we are reconsidering the Nature of crafts and questioning the meaning behind making works by hand through ceramics, glass, and metal.
This graduation exhibition, is to be taken as a common answer to the students researches on this problematic.
