"I don't want to get out of bed..."
One morning, Victoria muttered.
And she kept talking.
Is it her obsession driven by her faded dreams that her monologue leads to? Is it a journey to truth? Is it real or is it fantasy?
Ingmar Bergman, active both in the theatre field and the film industry originally wrote "Victoria" (original title : "A Matter of the Soul") as a filmscript.
It is a unique one-act play, later released as a radio monodrama.
This time, the monologue of the hero and Victoria's soul which Bergman pursued relentlessly are in the hands of Shinobu Otake and up-and-coming stage director Shuntaro Fujita!
