フィンランドのAALTO大学芸術デザイン建築学部大学院メディアラボ、ニュー・メディアMA専攻7名によるサウンド・インスタレーション展。

会場には、薪が燃える音、水や蒸気の音、大自然の中にあるサウナ小屋での神秘的で繊細な音など、フィンランドの自然と文化を様々な角度から表現した、サウンド・インスタレーション作品が展示され、この国をかたちづくる伝統的な要素をうかびあがらせました。

“luonto – kivikasa – polku – leija” (Nature – Stone Mountain – Path – Kite)
This sound installation featured the work of seven New Media MA students from
the Media Lab at Finland’s Aalto University School of Arts, Design and
Architecture. From the sounds of the shimmering forest to firewood burning and
water and steam, the venue at Spiral came alive with a mystical, intricate
soundscape, almost as if it had been transformed into a sauna cabin deep in
the mountains. The four sound installation works explored Finland’s unique
nature and culture from a range of perspectives, bringing to life the traditional
elements that shape the country.
