SICF（スパイラル・インディペンデント・クリエイターズ・フェスティバル）は若手クリエイターの発掘・育成・支援を目的としたゴールデンウィーク恒例のアートフェスティバルです。

19回目を迎える今回は、従来のブース出展形式である「EXHIBITION」と、新たに部門化したパフォーマンスプログラム「PLAY」の2部門を展開し、スパイラル全体が若手クリエイターの感性で彩られました。SICF19 EXHIBITIONでは前年に引き続き、ジャンルの垣根を超えて活躍
する気鋭の若手作家150組が各々のブースにて渾身のプレゼンテーションを展開しました。

その他、スパイラルガーデンでは、SICF18 WinnersExhibition、MINA-TOでは、SICF 過去出展者から、独自の表現を追求する4名のクリエイターに焦点を当てた展覧会「SICF―You Got A Message」、トークやワークショップなど、多彩な関連イベントを開催し、約1万4千人が来場しました。

SICF19 EXHIBITION
Held during Golden Week each spring in Tokyo, Spiral Independent Creators Festival (SICF) is an art and design festival that aspires to discover, cultivate,and support young talent.
For its 19th iteration this year, the festival was organized across the two categories of EXHIBITION, which featured the booth-style presentations that had become the signature of previous editions of SICF, as well as PLAY,
the newly established performance program. In this way, the entire Spiral venue came alive with the sensibilities of young artists and designers.
Following on from last year, SICF19 EXHIBITION presented 150 upand-coming exhibitors across a range of genres and disciplines, while other
events included the “SICF18 Winners Exhibition” at Spiral Garden as well as the “SICF—You Got A Message” at the MINA-TO which focused on four unique practitioners selected from previous SICF exhibitors, and also talks and workshops. In all, the varied and exciting program of events attracted some 14,000 visitors.
