2017年に開催した「SICF18」の関連企画として始まったパフォーマンスプログラム「PLAY」がSICFの新たな部門として開催されました。

PLAYでは、スパイラルガーデンのアトリウムを舞台に、ダンスや演劇、来場者参加型作品などのパフォーマンス、スパイラルの空間を活かしたインスタレーションなど、10分以内で自由な表現を発表しました。

本年度は、参加型かつ観客としても楽しめる作品として高く評価された作品「人力お化け屋敷」で劇団子供鉅人がグランプリを獲得しました。

SICF19 PLAY
PLAY was first launched as a related event program at SICF18 in 2017 but for SICF19 was organized as a full category within the main festival. Held in the atrium space of Spiral Garden, it showcased performances of dance, theatre, or participatory artworks, or installations that harnessed the unusual spatial nature of the venue. All entries were presented for a maximum of ten minutes. This year, the Grand Prize was won by the theatre company Kodomokyoin for its work Human-Powered Haunted House , which received much praise for its interactive and fun qualities.
